Hi everyone. I am part of the team building NixieFX, and I wanted to share it as a resource for Three.js game developers.
NixieFX is a browser-based particle editor with its own MIT-licensed runtime. It is designed for teams that want engine-style VFX authoring without moving a Three.js project into a hosted game engine. Effects can use multiple emitters on a timeline, curves, gradients, emission shapes, forces, noise, trails, and a node-based material editor.
Projects stay in a local folder as plain JSON. The editor exports a self-contained VFX bundle, and the Three.js adapter provides a retained instanced path for compatible billboards. The export report also identifies features that are supported, approximated, or blocked for the selected backend.
